Events Assistance Program Round 2 Now Open

Council is excited to announce Round 2 of the Events Assistance Program is now open until 1 October 2024. The program offers support to events that drive economic growth and attract visitors to the region. This round provides funding and in-kind support for events scheduled between January 1 and June 30, 2025.

Flavours of Mudgee tasting Packages on Sale

Residents are encouraged to snap up their Flavours of Mudgee tasting packages from Sunday, 1 September, through 123tix.com.au.
While Flavours is free to attend, a tasting package allows patrons to sample the region’s award-winning wines.

Mudgee Airport Hazard Reduction Postponed

Council and the Rural Fire Service (RFS) have postponed the planned hazard reduction burn-off at Mudgee Airport, scheduled for Sunday, 18 August at 11am.

Essential Road Works on Ulan Road

Council will be undertaking essential investigation works on Ulan Road, spanning from the entrance of Mudgee Racecourse to the roundabout at Short and Church Streets, Mudgee. These works are scheduled for Monday, 12 August 2024, between 9am and 3pm.

These grants are designed to support small maintenance and conservation projects for heritage-listed buildings, significant structures, and buildings located within heritage conservation areas.
