Below is a current register of all animals currently held at Mudgee Pound.

To report a missing dog or cat, please contact Council on 6378 2850 so that every effort can be made to reunite them with their owner. If your pet is currently missing, however is not listed on our page please get in touch to help identify your pet if it is picked up. 

To enquire about adopting an animal, for more information or to arrange a visit to Mudgee Pound, please get in touch with Council directly on 6378 2850.

  • Additional Info : Panda was handed into Council and unfortunately his owners have not collected him. He was not microchipped, we guess he would be approx. 12 months old, he is well behaved and looking for someone to continue his training.

  • Additional Info : Billy is approximately 2-year-old mixed breed dog available for adoption. We unfortunately don't have much information on him but has been seen to behave well in the pound, not reactive towards other dogs. He will sit, but will need training when it comes to walking on a lead.
