Local history

The library's local history collection includes a wide range of books, maps and resources detailing historic and contemporary aspects of the region. Explore parish maps, books on the origin of our towns and heritage buildings, books about the area, local stories and and works by local authors. Archived local newspapers are available on microfilm.

Should you have material, old photographs, documents, maps or any information on people, places or events connected with Mid-Western Regional Council and our villages or towns, please get in touch with Council's Library staff.
