Footpaths and cycleways

Council maintains more than 52km of footpaths and 17km of shared pathways for cyclists and pedestrians throughout the region.

A Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan (PAMP) was completed in 2016 as part of Council’s commitment to safe, convenient and connected pedestrian infrastructure. Since then many projects identified have been completed, and further development has occurred in our region.

Council is currently reviewing and updating the PAMP. As part of this process there will be opportunity for community consultation regarding any pedestrian access issues that should be considered.

More information is available in Council's Pedestrian Access Mobility Plan.
