Events and programs

The Library provides a range of free events for all ages, as well as regular children’s programs, school holiday activities and a summer reading program.

Book groups

The library runs four local book groups, as well as partnering with a number of community book groups. If you are interested in starting your own group, please get in touch directly.

Mobile Library

The Mobile Library visits primary schools, nursing homes, and residents who have difficulty accessing local branches.

Our libraries offer a local history collection including parish maps, books on the origin of our towns and heritage buildings, books about the area and books by local authors, as well as archived local newspapers.

Library Branches

Mid-Western Regional Council Library has four branches within the region, also offering a Mobile Library and regular events and children's programs.
