Mudgee’s Mortimer Street Precinct
Council owns a vacant site behind the K-hub facility on Mortimer Street, Mudgee, and is beginning early exploration of how the site could be used in the future.
This engagement is about listening first, before any designs are prepared or decisions are made. The purpose is to understand what the community values, what would work well for Mudgee, and what would not.
The project is currently in a planning and investigation phase only. While Council has secured funding to undertake studies, design work and technical investigations, no construction is approved or funded at this stage.
Feedback received through the short survey aimed to help shape the design brief provided to future designers and inform whether and how the site progresses. providing the opportunity for residents to share their thoughts and views early, so future planning reflects what matters to the Mudgee community.
