Significant Tree Register Policy

Objective:

to establish a transparent and consistent framework for the identification, assessment and protection of trees of heritage, cultural, aesthetic, scientific, or environmental significance within the Mid-Western Regional Council Local Government Area (LGA).
to ensure that nominations for the significant tree register are supported by credible evidence and that only trees of genuine and demonstrable significance are afforded protection.
