Planning Proposal – 66 Edgell Lane, Buckaroo (Lot 15 DP 1194019)
The planning proposal and supporting information will be placed on public exhibition for a period of 20 working days, commencing on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 and closing at 4.30pm on Wednesday, 1 April 2026. The subject site is located at 66 Edgell Lane, Buckaroo otherwise known as Lot 15, DP 1194019.
The proposal seeks to amend the Mid-Western Regional Local Environmental Plan 2012 by amending the minimum lot size clause relating to the subject site. Specifically, it proposes to change Clause 4.1(3A) so that the land moves from Area B, which currently has a minimum lot size of 4,000m2, to Area A, which allows a minimum lot size of 2,000m2. This change would allow for future subdivision of the land and create additional opportunities for residential development.
Council welcomes written submissions addressed to the General Manager. Submissions will be received up until 4.30pm on Wednesday, 1 April 2026.
