ArtLab: Foundations is a school holiday workshop series for young people who want to build their creative skills from the ground up. Presented in partnership between Mid-Western Regional Council’s Youth Services and Mudgee Arts Precinct, each session focuses on a different medium, from drawing and painting to printmaking, sculpture, and digital art. Participants will learn essential techniques, explore new tools and materials, and leave with the knowledge to keep developing their own unique style. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or sharpening your skills, ArtLab: Foundations is the place to start your creative journey.
This second workshop in the series will introduce students to the Intaglio printmaking technique of Drypoint etching. Using acrylic plates, students will design and create their own original, limited edition prints. All art materials will be supplied and lunch is provided.
FREE entry - suitable for ages 12-24 years.
