Mudgee Showground offers a variety of buildings and infrastructure to meet the needs of the public and groups, and the site is regularly used for large scale shows, events and activities. The grounds are a popular venue for horse enthusiasts offering stabling facilities and an arena suitable for equestrian.
The site offers a cattle yard, equestrian arena, animal stalls, large main pavilion area as well as smaller pavilions suitable for animal showing, a grandstand, accessible toilets and full kitchen and bar facilities. Camping is also available on site, with both powered and unpowered sites.
There are 58 camping sites available at Mudgee Showground. There are 25 powered sites and 33 unpowered sites available. All basic facilities are available.

Horse stables at the Mudgee Showground are available for casual and long term hire. Long term stable users require Public Liability Insurance of a minimum $10million.
