Join us for a free interactive workshop, presented as part of NSW Small Business Month 2026, designed to help small businesses create engaging social media content using their smartphone.

Guided by food writer, photographer and content creator Sophie Hansen, this practical session will cover how to take better photos and videos, create effective Reels, and build confidence in front of the camera. You’ll leave with a simple framework for planning, shooting, editing and sharing content for your business.

Whether you are just getting started or already posting and want to polish your skills, this workshop will help you create content that connects with customers and reflects your business.

About the facilitator

Sophie Hansen is a food writer, photographer and content creator who lives on a farm outside Orange with her husband and children. With more than 25 years of experience, Sophie has developed and photographed recipes for clients including Walnuts Australia, The Manildra Group, Beerenberg and Barkers of New Zealand.

She is the author and photographer of five cookbooks, including Local is Lovely, A Basket by the Door, In Good Company, Around the Kitchen Table and What Can I Bring?

Sophie was named Australian Rural Woman of the Year in 2016 for her commitment to rural communities and is currently working on her sixth cookbook, due for release in Autumn 2027.
