Cementa26 returns to Kandos from 17–20 September 2026, bringing four days of contemporary art, performance, sound, installation, workshops and unexpected encounters to venues and public spaces across the town.

Curated by Sebastian Henry-Jones, the festival brings together artists from across Australia to create and present work shaped by Kandos, its histories, communities and surrounding landscape. Visitors can explore exhibitions, performances, artist talks, participatory projects and special events throughout the festival weekend.

Most of the Cementa26 program is free, with selected events requiring tickets or registration. Make a weekend of it, explore Kandos and the surrounding Mudgee Region, and experience contemporary art made differently.
