The inagural Australian Open Sporting Clays Championship is a world class Sporting Clays Target shooting event attracting competitors from all states within Australia and abroad.

Sporting Clays is best described as 'golf with a shotgun' where competitors navigate a course consisting of several shooting positions. Clay target presentations are designed to simulate field and game birds and rabbit trajectories (without the birds and rabbits) providing shooters with challenging target combinations amongst a safe, secure and controlled bush setting allowing friends, partners, husbands and wives and family members from multiple generations to enjoy the worlds most popular, fastest growing clay target discipline.
