Water supply to some Mudgee households in Nicholson Street, Rheinberger Avenue, Court Street, Cox Street, Inglis Street, Horatio Street and Flirtation Avenue will be affected this Thursday, 21 October. Council will be undertaking essential water main replacement and maintenance in these areas and in order to complete the work will be shutting down water supply. Households in the affected areas of Nicholson Street, Rheinberger Avenue, Court Street, Cox Street, Inglis Street, Horatio Street and Flirtation Avenue are advised to ensure they have water bottles, jugs and containers filled for access to water. The shutdown is scheduled for 8am to 4pm on Thursday, 21 October. As a result of these works customers may also experience low pressure, discoloured water and air within their water pipes. Customers in the affected areas will receive further information in the mail. Council apologises for any inconvenience caused.
