The largest senior’s festival in the Southern Hemisphere is coming to the Mid-Western Region next month with a range of activities and events to celebrate incredible seniors in our community.

Themed ‘Celebrate Together’, the 2023 NSW Seniors Festival will deliver hundreds of free and discounted activities, workshops, and performances for seniors across the state.

Locally, Council is supporting a variety of events including: seniors luncheons in Mudgee, Gulgong, Rylstone and Kandos, Senior Citizen of the Year awards, history talks, musical high tea, writing workshops, technology sessions, movie screenings, day bus tours to Dubbo and much more.

With a diverse range of experiences on offer, the festival will inspire seniors to be active, socialise, and share their skills and wisdom, all while connecting with their community.

Local events will run from Monday, 6 February to Monday, 27 February.

The NSW Seniors Festival is presented by Council in conjunction with the NSW Government.
