Free workshop for Small Businesses on the applications of AI
Published on 18 September 2025
Council is proud to offer small businesses in the Mid-Western Region the opportunity to learn more about the potential applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and its use in marketing.
The ‘Future-Proof Your Marketing’ workshop will be led by strategic marketing consultant and NSW Business Connect Advisor, Hannah Stack, on 14 October as part of the NSW Government’s 2025 NSW Small Business Month.
The free session will explore how AI can be applied across business operations and marketing, including how to create effective customer personas and content.
Participants will gain an understanding of the five P’s of AI in marketing - Planning, Personalisation, Productivity, Performance and Protection - and why Generative Search Optimisation (GSO) is becoming more important than ever.
Attendees will also hear real-world examples from small businesses already using AI and will leave with practical tools and quick-win strategies that can be applied immediately. The workshop is designed to give small business owners better marketing ideas and a clearer path forward in the AI era.
“The applications of artificial intelligence are increasing at a rapid rate,” Council’s General Manager, Brad Cam said.
“This workshop will give local businesses the confidence and practical know-how to stay ahead of the curve.”
The event will be held on Tuesday, 14 October from 5pm to 7pm in the upstairs Seminar Room of Mudgee Arts Precinct (90 Market Street, Mudgee).
Spots are limited and registrations are essential.
