Rylstone Kandos Family Fun Day

Free family activities will be available at the annual Rylstone Kandos Family Fun Day on Wednesday, 5 October.

Hosted by Council and the Rylstone and Kandos Interagency, the day will showcase an exciting range of local services and family friendly activities for the community.

The Family Fun Day has become a feature event on the local calendar, with this year’s event featuring exhibitions by Get Wild Animal Encounters and Birdlife Australia Displays with fun activities such as holding a baby crocodile and helping to build a human sized bird’s nest.

A number of community organisations will be in attendance at the event including Council’s Youth Services Team, Ironed Out, Barnardos, Lifeskills Plus, North East Wiradjuri Co, Samaritans, Rylstone Kandos Preschool and more.

All activities are free, with the Rylstone Rotary Club providing a sausage sizzle lunch for a gold coin donation.

A free return bus service is also available from Gulgong and Mudgee with bookings via Council’s website essential to secure your seat.

The event will be held at the Rylstone Showground from 10am to 2pm, Wednesday 5 October.
