Rylstone residents are advised an emergency preparedness exercise will be conducted at Rylstone Memorial Hall and Rylstone Dam next Tuesday, 1 July.
The exercise will involve a scenario simulating an emergency at Rylstone Dam.
The exercise is designed to improve response capabilities and ensure community safety in the event of a real emergency. This is a simulation only and there is no actual threat to the community.
A number of key emergency agencies will be involved including the SES, VRA, police and Council.
This collaboration reinforces the importance of partnerships in ensuring effective emergency response.
Council appreciates the community’s assistance and patience in this vital training to ensure that real events can be handled with efficiency and decisiveness.
