Published on 04 August 2025
With just three weeks to go, tickets are selling fast for the much-anticipated NRL showdown between the Penrith Panthers and the Canberra Raiders in Mudgee.
The two top eight teams will battle it out at Glen Willow Stadium on Friday, 22 August and locals are urged to secure their seats before it’s too late.
The blockbuster match is expected to draw thousands of fans to Mudgee, with strong sales across Sydney, the Central West and beyond. With less than a month to go, ticket allocations are quickly disappearing for what promises to be a high-energy evening under the lights.
Mayor Des Kennedy said it was fantastic to see Mudgee once again playing host to elite-level rugby league and encouraged locals not to miss the opportunity.
“Glen Willow always puts on a great show, and this game is shaping up to be a sell-out,” Cr Kennedy said.
“We’ve got fans travelling from across the state to be part of it, and I’d hate for locals to miss out because they waited too long.
“If you’re planning to attend, now is the time to jump online and book your tickets.”
The Penrith Panthers return to Mudgee with four premierships under their belt and a strong following in the region, while the Raiders bring their own firepower and loyal fanbase to the clash.
“Events like this bring enormous benefit to our region — not just in terms of entertainment, but for local tourism and our economy,” Cr Kennedy said.
“It’s great to see Mudgee continuing to attract top-tier sport and visitors who stay, shop, and explore everything we have to offer.”
Tickets are available now via 123tix.com.au.
