Mudgee Saleyards Hybrid Auction

The 26th Annual Angus Breeders sale took place at Mudgee Saleyards on Friday, 3 May, featuring 1,100 head of cattle.

This was the first time that Mudgee Saleyards has hosted a hybrid livestock sale that integrates traditional in-person auctions with online bidding platforms, broadening the market for sellers and offering convenience to buyers. With online bidding, participants can engage from any location with internet access.

This approach optimises sales outcomes by increasing competition among sellers and reaching a wider audience. Moreover, the sale accommodates buyers who prefer attending auctions in person.

The auction was attended by over 100 buyers, with all 1,100 head of Angus cattle successfully sold.
