Facility upgrades seeking community feedback

Council owns and manages a number of parks and recreation facilities throughout the region.

As part of its commitment to improve and grow facilities, Council is currently seeking feedback from the community on the potential expansion of Kandos Rotary Park Playground and upgrades to amenities at Victoria Park Gulgong and Glen Willow Netball Courts.

“We’re currently investigating improvements to these facilities and would appreciate feedback from the community as to whether this is supported,” Council’s General Manager, Brad Cam said.

“Council has an opportunity to upgrade Victoria Park Gulgong through the construction of a kiosk and change room amenities and at Glen Willow Netball Courts to improve the existing four courts.

“In Kandos, the proposed new inclusive playground at Rotary Park will be welcoming, accessible, safe, interesting, and offering a range of physical play opportunities whilst providing opportunities for social connection.”
