As part of NSW Small Business Month this October, Mid-Western Regional Council is hosting a free workshop to introduce local businesses to the opportunities of e-commerce.

The workshop, e-Commerce Basics to Grow Your Small Business will take place on Tuesday, 29 October, from 5pm to 7pm at the Cultural Workshops at Mudgee Arts Precinct, 90 Market Street, Mudgee. This session will highlight the advantages of selling online and provide practical guidance on setting up a successful e-commerce platform.

Leanne O’Sullivan from Central NSW Business HQ (BizHQ) will lead the workshop. With extensive experience in digital strategy, Leanne will provide attendees key concepts of e-commerce, the benefits of having an online store to drive sales, and essential strategies for managing an online store.

The event will also feature a special guest, Katy Henderson, owner of local business Willow Collective, who will share her e-commerce journey in a relaxed and informal session. Katy will reflect on her decision to take her business online, the challenges she faced, and insights gained along the way.

The evening will conclude with a Q&A session, where attendees can engage with both Leanne and Katy. This free workshop is an excellent opportunity for local businesses to enhance their digital skills and position themselves for future growth. For more information, visit Council’s website.
