The NRL has made the decision to adjust the kick-off times to a number of pre-season matches this Saturday including the Charity Shield in Mudgee.

The NRL advised the time change was due to player safety concerns around the forecast heat.

As a result, the Charity Shield: Dragons v Rabbitohs will now be played at 4.20pm instead of the previously promoted 3.30pm. Gates will now open at 1.50pm. There will not be a curtain-raiser game due to the hot weather.

Tickets are still available at and patrons are encouraged to pre-purchase ahead of time to avoid disappointment. Tickets will be available at the gate if not sold out prior.
