Council Structure

Nine Councillors elected by the community make up Mid-Western Regional Council. The Mayor is elected annually by the councillors, pursuant to the Local Government Act, Section 282(2)

The Operational Management of the Council is led by the General Manager, and supported by three Directors responsible for Operations, Development and Community, as well as the Chief Financial Officer and the Executive Manager, Human Resources as identified below.
