It is Council's proposal to ensure these facilities are maintained and operated at similar levels and to a standard that allows the community to continue to enjoy the benefit of these high quality facilities.

Council has aligned the opening and closing hours at all three pools, a change made possible by the installation of pool heating at Gulgong in early 2008.

All swimming pools are fully supervised by qualified staff. During the perMudgee Swimming Pooliod of school holidays, Council also provides additional lifeguards so that patrons can use the pool knowing that adequate safety procedures are in place.
