Footpaths and Cycleways
Within the Mid-Western Council region there are over 52km of footpaths and 17km of shared-use pathways suitable for cyclists and pedestrians. In 2016 a Pedestrian Access and Mobility Plan was completed as part of Council’s commitment to safe, convenient and connected pedestrian infrastructure. This project identified 177 projects to improve pathways infrastructure within our region, and each of these projects was costed and prioritised in accordance with RMS best-practice.
