Mudgee Arts Precinct

Mudgee Arts Precinct is open to the Community!
On Saturday 7 August 2021 at 9.00am Mudgee Arts Precinct will be revealed.

We invite you to visit this fantastic new facility and discover the magic of our opening exhibition Stories from Homedale by renowned landscape artist, Guido Maestri.

This extraordinary exhibition is a collection of paintings and a smaller sculptural installation by the Mudgee-born artist and Archibald Prize winner, created especially for this inaugural event. It features some of the largest works ever created by Guido Maestri.

Also on exhibition at Mudgee Arts Precinct in the Seminar Room, is a collection of Aboriginal art from the Gora Singh Mann Collection.  Mr Mann, a well-known local philanthropist, has been collecting art for over fifty years and has amassed an impressive collection. Mr Mann has generously loaned Mudgee Arts Precinct a selection of works from some of Australia’s most acclaimed artists including Gloria Petyarre and Minnie Pwerle.
