Economic Development

Mid-Western Regional Council strongly supports existing and prospective business operations as the means of strengthening economic, environmental and community sustainability in the Region.

Through sustainable business growth and the strong capacity to shape its own future, the Mid-Western is a business-friendly economic region. Council's Economic Development Officer works with existing and potential business organisations to identify opportunities, open avenues of communication and facilitate synergistic growth throughout the Region.
