The History of Bees tells three stories in different timelines to explore the power of family and humanity’s impact on nature. Author Maja Lunde tells us about her fascinating research into pollination and how she imagined a future dystopian world in which bees have died out and human workers are forced to hand-pollinate plants. Tania Blanchard shares the stories of ordinary Germans who suffered under Hitler’s regime in The Girl from Munich, take a sneak peek into Les Zig’s Just Another Week in Suburbia, in which Caspar Gray notices something very disturbing in his wife’s handbag, and catch Robert Edeson’s latest eccentric, science-infused novel, Bad to Worse. You'll also find out about how Patrick Ness took his novel A Monster Calls to the big screen. Don’t forget to scan through our pages of reviews to find a book to entertain you as you lap up the early-spring sunshine!
