Theatre Technical Equipment Description
The Audio and Lighting equipment in the Mudgee Town Hall Theatre is high quality state of the art.
The audio system features a digital control matrix switcher with several presets, to enable usage for every function from a simple single microphone for a seminar, to a fully functional multi instrumental mix for concert or stage production.
The main speakers are powered line array β3 1200 watts per side, and supply a crisp and powerful Front Of House mix. 1200 Watt front loaded Subwoofers complement the frequency balance, which has been tailored uniquely for this venue, and boasts a -3dB performance range of 40 Hz to 40 kHz.
Full range 5.1 Surround Sound is active during Cinema Shows, and surround stereo is available as an advanced option for mixing live shows.
The audio mixing desk is a high-end 24 input analogue desk, with 4 stage monitor sends, four-stage EQ with two parametrics in the mid range, four sub groups and two main outputs. Inserts and phantom power are available separately on each channel. Complemented by four separate full range stage monitors with separate 1/3 octave graphic EQ’s, Six Shure SM 58 microphones, Two Shure SM81 microphones, Single-ear talkback headsets and back-of-house speakers, this system will cater for a huge range of needs.
The lighting system boasts an ETC Smartfade digital console. With a capacity for up to 24 moving lights and an additional 48 intensity channels (dimmers), and the ability to patch to two complete universes of DMX512A (1,024 outputs), there is a great deal of flexibility available for any kind of production.
The luminaries available are from ETC, and consist of 6 Fresnels with barn doors, 10 Source Four Jr spots, 4 Source Four spots and 8 LED lights.
The dimmers are Jands WMX 12 channel with a 48 way patch, which provide control to four 12 point lighting bars with DMX points.
There is also a Vedette 12HCC spotlight on a telescopic stand.
