Visitors and locals can ENJOY DINNER IN THE STREET whilst tasting local wine, food and produce in a festival atmosphere with the famous clock tower as the backdrop.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: Do I need to purchase a ticket to attend Flavours of Mudgee?

Flavours of Mudgee is a free public event. You can however purchase a token tasting package if you wish to sample local wines.

Q: Where can I purchase token packages?

Pre purchased token packages will be available from Mudgee Region Tourist Information Centre 84 Market Street Mudgee from Monday 11 September*.

Token packages can be purchased on the day of the event from either of the selling points located within the event area.

  1. Market St (Perry St end)
  2. Church St (Mortimer St end)

Q: What is included in the token package?

A token package includes x 5 tasting (30mL) tokens and a souvenir Flavours of Mudgee tasting glass.

Q: Are unused tokens refundable?

No, no refund is given on any used tokens.

Q: Can I purchase food at the event?

Yes, food will be available at the event, everything from cheese through to meals will be on offer for you to sample the finest Flavours of Mudgee.

Q: Can I purchase wine at the event?

Yes, wine can be purchased at the event. A glass of wine is $5 with bottles of wine at cellar door prices. Alcohol may only be removed from the event if it is unopened and has been purchased from the event.

Q: Do you accept EFTPOS?

Yes, EFTPOS will be available at both token stands, however not all participating wine or food vendors may offer this. Several ATM’s are also available throughout the event area.

Q: Is parking available at the event?

There is ample free local parking in the area.

Q: Is smoking permitted at the event?

Smoking on the premises is only permitted in designated smoking areas and not within other event areas. A designated smoking area is located at Church St (Mortimer St end).

Q: Are pets allowed?

No pets or animals permitted, with the exception of Guide Dogs.

Q: Is first aid available?

Yes, St John Ambulance will be located at the intersection of Church and Market Sts.

Q: Is there seating available?

Tables and chairs are available throughout the event area and in the Anglican Church grounds.

Q: Where are toilets located?

Toilet facilities are located in the Anglican Church grounds and Town Hall Arcade. Disabled toilet facilities are located in nearby establishments within the event area, including the Woolpack Hotel, Lawson Park Hotel and Kelly's Irish Pub.
