Strategic Plans

Strategic Plans for Council infrastructure are developed annually to assist in the management of Council’s assets and to advise everyone of the works proposed both for the coming year and for future years.

In 2005, Council commissioned Jeff Roorda and Associates to develop a report to assist Council to wisely allocate resources to provide the services decided by Council at agreed quality, cost and time by using the optimal asset stock needed to deliver corporate objectives whilst controlling exposure to risk and loss. A copy of that report is available here  (1,774kb).

Residents and visitors are welcome to comment at any time on any of the plans presented here. All issues are taken on board in the review of the plans each year as they are treated as living documents. As such, they do not undergo a formal advertising period due to the frequency of review.
